Crate47 provided Problast with a complete branding and marketing service which included website design and content creation. This was a startup company breaking into the growing service sector of dustless blasting, which is a cleaner and more eco-friendly version of traditional sandblasting. Built on the client’s aims and competitor research, our brand marketing strategy determined that the business needed a strong contemporary look that also reflected the mobile nature of their business. It was this that led us to draw inspiration for the company branding from the liveries of racing cars.

Dynamic business branding.

The dynamic brand we created uses a modern italic font for the logo design to suggest speed and efficiency. We combined this with a powerful red and black colourway and developed a stand alone marque which also works as a repeat pattern. This gives us several brand elements that we can use in different ways to add variety to the branding and marketing going forward.

The public face of the company is most evident in their vehicles and our striking livery design took this into account using the interplay of diagonal elements to dynamic effect. The brand pattern is repeated in a matt finish on gloss black and breaks up towards the back of the van to give way to an oversize logotype in bright red making a bold statement that is easily recognised.

Content creation and print design that elevates the brand.

Crucial to the success of our branding and marketing is our bespoke visual content. It is always created with the client’s brand identity in mind and follows the parameters of their individual brand marketing strategy. Not only have we used our imagery on Problast’s website, but we continue to create new photography and video production to promote the company online through social media marketing.

We have also undertaken the company’s print design and management for items such as business cards and letterheads, which again adhere to their brand identity.
