Lifestyle branding that catches the eye.

We created the lifestyle branding and e-commerce web design for the new swimwear brand Don’t Stare that launched in summer of 2019. We took the brand name, and thinking about the meaning behind the slogan, developed a logo design that played with the idea of being told to do one thing but doing the opposite. Using two completely different style typefaces we separated out the lettering so that the logo reads as having two meanings.

Bringing the brand to life with colour.

Our lifestyle branding combined the use of contrasting colours with the typography design to further differentiate the two meanings. This has been developed into several colourways that make the branding very adaptable for use on the website and elsewhere.

With swimwear brands being very fashion-conscious, the colours have been chosen to be very on-trend and in keeping with the bold designs of the swimwear. The whole look of the brand is light and bright to reflect an active lifestyle of sun, sea, and of course, swimming.

An appealing website design with engaging content.

Our web design for Don’t Stare is a modern e-commerce site that showcases the brand’s swimwear and accessories in an optimum way. In line with the marketing strategy for our lifestyle branding, the content includes an engaging mixture of location-based style photography together with clear but appealing product shots.

The website design has a clean, contemporary site architecture with a focused UX (User experience) at its core. Making it easy for customers to use. As well as being simple for the client to update, the platform we chose is also ideal for promotion of the swimwear brand through social media and marketing campaigns.

"Crate47 listened to my ideas on the lifestyle branding I wanted to create for my swimwear business and improved upon it. Communication was great throughout the whole process and I couldn't be happier with the final website and brand."
